Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer carrier capable of maintaining high image quality for an extended period of time even when a highly triboelectrically chargeable developer is used, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A developer carrier has a base body and a surface layer that is a cured product of a resin composition containing; i) a resin having at least one structure selected from a -NHgroup, =NH group, and -NH- bond in a molecular structure thereof; ii) a quaternary phosphonium salt or quaternary ammonium salt; iii) a metal compound of an aromatic oxycarboxylic acid; and iv) conductive particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None
