A colorant, a polyester resin-base binder, an electrostatic charge controlling agent comprising a zirconium complex of a salicylic acid derivative, silica provided with hydrophobic property and titanium dioxide are incorporated. The zirconium complex is represented by the formula and does not impair color development by a color toner because it is colorless. The amount of the zirconium complex is preferably 0.2-3.0 wt.% based on the weight of the binder. The amount of the hydrophobic silica is preferably 0.2-3.0 wt.% based on the weight of the binder.
