To provide a developer quantity regulating blade which has the surface of a charge control plane with small roughness, is excellent in stability of performance and in mass-productivity and causes no image defect such as stripes or non-uniformity due to a developer, a production method therefor and a developing device using the developer quantity regulating blade.
The developer quantity regulating blade is formed by feeding a surface transfer sheet into a metal die for injection molding by a blade member, locating the sheet in contact with the inner surface of a cavity, closing the die, afterwards, injecting a composition for blade member in the metal die cavity and solidifying the composition while being integrated and tightly contacting with the surface transfer sheet. The surface from which the surface transfer sheet is peeled is made into charge control plane and the surface of the blade member confronted with the charge control plane is adhered on the supporting member.
