To solve a problem wherein initial blocking of a developer and flushing by the fluidized developer caused by physical distribution or by leaving with a discharge hole turned downward cannot be simultaneously prevented.
The inside of a container body of a developer replenishing container includes a plate-like guiding part formed along the rotation axis of the body, a tilting plate that tilts in the opening direction and projects from the guiding part, and a retention chamber that has a cylindrical shape substantially concentric with the container body, whose one end communicates with the opening, and that has a receiving hole for receiving the developer scooped by the guiding part in the peripheral surface of the cylindrical shape. At least a part of the tilting plate enters the inside of the retention chamber. When it is seen from the direction perpendicular to the guiding part in a state where the guiding part is erected vertically while the rotation axis of the container body is made horizontal, the lower edge of the receiving hole is positioned above the end of the tilting part in the opening direction.
