The developer for replenishment to be used for a developing method to perform development while replenishing the developer for replenishment in the case of developing a latent image of a latent image holding body by using a developing unit in which a double-component developer consisting of the toner and a carrier is stored, is characterized by that the carrier and the toner are contained in blend ratio of 2 to 50 parts of the toner against one part of the carrier by a mass part, the carrier is a magnetic fine particle distributed resin carrier at least having inorganic compound particles and binder resin, weight average particle diameter of the toner is 3 to 10 μm and the toner contains 1 to 40% of a solid wax.
