PURPOSE: To make a developer susceptible to electric charge injection and to enable thorough prevention of a photographic fog and underdevelopment by adding a ferro electric material to a developer consisting essentially of a binder resin and a coloring material.
CONSTITUTION: A ferroelectric material is added to a developer consisting essentially of a binder resin and a coloring material. The developer is made susceptible to electric charge injection from a regulating member and the charge is injected efficiently. A sharp image is thus obtd. without a photographic fog and under development. The ferroelectric material is exemplified by BaTiO3, KNa(C4H4O4)H2O, NaNO3, TiO2, etc. The amt. of addition is preferably in the range from 1wt% to 2.0wt%.
