PURPOSE: To obtain a copy of a good quality by placing a nozzle pipe on this side of a trimmer, and sucking and removing a foreign matter and a blocking toner, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A nozzle pipe 8 on which plural sucking ports 7W are pierced is placed on a suitable part of this side of a trimmer 6, and connected to a vacuum device 11 by using a tube 10. The device 11 is operated as required, and a foreign matter such as a fiber, etc. in a toner 12, which is apt to collect by being caught by a trimmer gap part between the lower end part of the trimmer 6 and the upper part of a magnetic roll 3, or a blocking toner, etc. are sucked and removed successively. Accordingly, the cause of a copy defence is eliminated, the toner gap part is held in a normal state, a copy of a good quality is obtained, and the reliability can be impressed.
