To provide a developing device that prevents liquid developer recovered from a reservoir part and a developer carrier to a recovery part from flowing back to the reservoir part and overflowing from the recovery part, and to provide an image forming device including the developing device.
In a recovery part 541, a position (recovery areas RA1, RA2) of a liquid developer overflowing from flow ports 5441, 5442 is different from a position (recovery areas RA3, RA4) of the liquid developer dripping from inclined members 513, 522. The liquid developer can be prevented from concentrating in the recovery areas RA1, RA2, thereby preventing the liquid developer recovered in the recovery part 541 from flowing back to the reservoir part 542 through the flow ports 5441, 5442. The liquid developer is prevented from overflowing from a developer container 54 in the recovery areas RA1, RA2, resulting in contamination of peripherals of a developing part 5.
