Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of reliably preventing leakage of a toner even with a configuration in which pressing force of a developing blade against a developing roller is reduced.SOLUTION: A developing device of the present invention includes: a developing roller 28; a toner accommodation case 24; a developer regulating member 26 that is arranged at a downstream end in a direction of rotation of the developing roller 28 at an opening of the toner accommodation case 24, and is pressed against the surface of the developing roller 28; and a developing end seal member 27 that is fixed to both ends in the axial directions of the developing roller 28 at the opening of the toner accommodation case 24. Both ends of the developer regulating member 26 and the developing end seal members 27 are overlapped with each other at a position in the axial direction of the developing roller 28; and the developer regulating member 26 has a protrusion part 26a formed by folding a plate-like body pressed against the surface of the developing roller 28, and a seal material A provided between a recessed part 26b formed on the rear face side of the protrusion part 26a and the developing end seal members 27.
