PURPOSE: To obtain a developing element without generation of mutual mixture and circumferential effects of samples, with a small quantity of a developing solvent and having good reproducibility and efficiency, by orienting the plural developing element simple substances on which an adsorbent or a dividing agent layer is provided in a radiating direction with one point as a center.
CONSTITUTION: Silica gel powder is sintered and a thin layer 2 having 0.1mm thickness is formed on the surface of a supporting material 1 made of quartz glass having e.g. 1.0mm diameter and 10cm length to obtain a developing element simple substance 3. Ten pieces of the simple substance 3 are oriented in a radiating direction at a 36° angle on a plain surface with one point as a center to prepare one developing element 1. Ten pieces of samples are loaded on the position of each simple substance 3 close to the center A of this element 1 and are developed on the same condition simultaneously. By this way, the ten samples have good reproducibility and separable without generation of mutual mixture and circumferential effects and a developing solvent is supplied to the center A part, and therefore the operating efficiency is improved with a small quantity of the solvent to be used and with a small size of a developing tank.
