Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the developing method using a nonmagnetic one-component type toner which is capable of coloring high-quality picture and long time stability of toner developing property and without causing toner stain and melt- sticking to a developer carrier or a latent image carrier even by using it for a long period.
CONSTITUTION: In the developing method by which a negative polar toner is carried on a developer carrier, and the toner is brought into contact or non- contact with the latent image carrier consisitng of the org. photosensitive photoreceptor opposite to a developer carrier to develop the latent image, and the developer carrier and the latent image carrier are rotated at (2:1 to 1:1) linear velosity ratio, and the toner externally added with the hydrophobic cilica particulates having ≥50% hydrophobicity and the titanium oxide particulates having ≥40% hydrophobicity into the base toner particles consisting essentially of a binder resin, a colorant and a polarity restrainer is used.
