To provide a developing plate-positioning apparatus which can surly mark a pattern at the intended position of a product surface, while automating an upper side-branding process, and can further give a uniform stable branding color to portions branded with an upper side-branding treatment.
This developing plate-positioning apparatus 10 comprising a conveyer 14 for conveying the developing plate, a support plate 15 disposed above the conveyer 14 and having a longitudinal position-arranging means 20 and a lateral position-arranging means 30, a vertical cylinder for lifting or lowering the support plate 15, and a front frame stopper 16 for stopping the developing plate on the conveyer 14 below the support plate 15 is characterized in that the longitudinal position-arranging means 20 forward presses the rear portion of the developing plate stopped with the front frame stopper 16 to arrange the longitudinal position of the developing plate, when the support plate 15 is lowered, and the lateral position-arranging means 30 presses the side of the developing plate stopped with the front frame stopper 16 to arrange the lateral position of the developing plate, when the support 15 is lowered.
