Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a developing process unit supporting device by which a developing process unit is easily and surely attached.
CONSTITUTION: At the stage of attaching the developing process unit 1 in a housing, an opening lever 28 is forcibly turned in one direction by a part of the developing process unit 1, and a locking lever 20 is retreated by a connecting rod 30 which interlocks with the action of the lever 28, so that the developing process unit 1 is inserted in the housing in a state resistance is not given to the unit 1 from the lever 20 and surely locked by locking parts 14 and 16, and then the lever 20 is turned by pressing force and surely engaged with the unit 1. At the time of taking out the unit 1, the opening lever 28 is turned in the other direction, but the interlocking action of the lever 20 is prevented by an escape part 33 at such a time.
