Abstract:
To provide a developing roller and an image forming apparatus that can prevent fogging in a high temperature and high humidity condition and provide a high-quality image.SOLUTION: A developing roller comprises: a shaft body 2; an elastic layer 3 that is provided on an outer surface of the shaft body 2; and a coating layer 4 that is provided on the outside of the elastic layer 3. In the developing roller 1, the coating layer 4 contains a base resin and a conductivity imparting agent; the base resin in the coating layer 4 is a silicone modified urethane resin; the conductivity imparting agent is zinc oxide particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
