Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transferred toner from being splashed and deteriorated and to stabilize and maintain a static charge characteristic with respect to the toner by making the triboelectrifying polarity of inorganic grains with respect to the toner reverse to that of binding resin and dispersing the inorganic grains in a covering layer as the aggregate grains.
SOLUTION: A developing sleeve provided with the covering layer 8 formed by dispersing the inorganic grains 7 in the binding resin and constituted so that the grains 7 are dispersed in the layer 8 as the aggregate grains 9 is used. Then, the triboelectrifying polarity of the grains 7 with respect to the toner is reverse to that of the binding resin. Besides, aluminum and the like is used as a developing sleeve pipe stock on which the layer 8 is formed and the layer 8 including the grains 7 whose triboelectrifying polarity with respect to the toner is reverse to the binding resin is formed on, the pipe stock. Therefore, triboelectric charge quantity between the toner 5 and the layer 8 is increased because of the increase of frictional rotation. However, since positive electric, charge also partially exists in the toner by the existence of the grains 7, the increase of the triboelectric charge quantity is canceled.
