Abstract:
To provide a developing device, an image forming apparatus, and a method for adjusting an amount of a supplied developer that can suppress occurrence of variations in the amount of a supplied developer.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a housing 41 that stores toner; a first conveying member 42 that conveys the toner in the housing 41; a toner sensor 46 that outputs an electric signal corresponding to an amount of toner passing through a detection position P1 on a conveyance path of the toner conveyed by the first conveying member 42; a supply unit that supplies toner from a toner container to a supply position P2 in the housing 41; and a first adjustment processing unit that adjusts the amount of toner supplied from the supply unit on the basis of, a plurality of electric signals output after the supply unit starts the supply of toner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
