To provide a processing apparatus for a silver halide color paper, the apparatus (a) which is capable of rapid processing so that a finished print can be handed over a customer on the spot, (b) which requires a small installation area suitable for a minilab, (c) which ensures stability of a processing liquid with less deterioration of the processing liquid even during a non-busy season, and (d) which constantly maintains normal image quality.
The development processing apparatus for a silver halide color paper includes: respective processing tanks for processing with a color developing solution followed by a bleaching solution and successively with a solution having fixing ability; and a liquid-tight sealed passage for a light-sensitive material between the processing tank of the bleaching solution and the processing tank of the liquid having fixing ability so as to make a light-sensitive material pass through. The light-sensitive material is conveyed in a solution through the passage between processing tanks.
