Abstract:

PURPOSE: To well maintain the stability of development finishing in the common development for negatives and positives to be repetitively used under replenishment of a development replenishing liquid by preparing the development replenishing liquid to two kinds; one for a positive type photosensitive planographic printing plate and the other for a negative type photosensitive planographic printing plate.

CONSTITUTION: The development replenishing liquid is prepd. into the two kinds; the one for the positive type photosensitive planographic printing plate and the other for the negative type photosensitive planographic printing plate. The replenishment with these liquids is executed by the method of replenishing only the development replenishing liquid for the positive type photosensitive planographic printing plate when the positive type photosensitive planographic printing plate is processed and replenishing only the development replenishing liquid for the negative type photosensitive planographic printing plate when the negative type photosensitive planographic printing plate is processed. The adequate replenishing of each of the negative type PS plate and the positive type PS plate is possible in this way and the good maintenance of the developability in the common development of the negative type PS plate and positive type PS plate by the common developing soln. for negatives and positives to be repetitively used under the replenishment of the development replenishing liquid is possible.
