Title:
DEVICE FOR ALLOTTING COIN BY MONEY KIND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3950948
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the device and to reduce the overall height of the device by arranging a coin detecting means and an opening and closing means for a coin taking-in hole on the bottom surface of a coin passage.
SOLUTION: A coin arraying and deciding device which is arranged in a cut 38 of the device supplies a coin C to a passage plate 33 and the coin is conveyed by a belt 34. Sensors 1S to 500S which detect 1-yen to 500-yen coins are so arranged that their top surfaces are nearly in level with the top surface of the passage plate 33. Holes H which are long enough to let respective coins C fall are formed in the passage plate 33 on the downstream side of the sensors 1S to 500S. For example, when the sensor 100S detects an 100-yen coin C, a gate G is activated to open the hole H and the 100-yen coin C falls in the hole H. The 100-yen coin is stored in a hopper device.
