The return electrode forms an inner side passage for the passing of conductive liquid 50 electrically connected to both of the return electrode and the electrode array. By applying a high frequency voltage to the electrode array and the return electrode, the conductive liquid forms a current route between the return electrode and the electrode array and target tissues are cut off or excised.
