PURPOSE: To improve the workability and versatility by providing positioning jigs on the jigs which circulates and moves in respective stations and supplying a fluid pressure to the station for caulking and coupling.

CONSTITUTION: The jigs A are circulated and moved to the respective stations I to V by an intermittently driven endless transporting means B. The plural positioning jigs are provided on the jigs A and are so formed that the jigs can swivel at the time of ascending. These jigs are restrained swivelably at the time of descending. The multiplex tools of the coupling heads C, E to the 2nd, 4th stations II, IV to execute caulking and coupling are disposed with punches and dies in the prescribed coupling positions of works and make coupling operation by locally up-setting and deforming the superposed parts of the works with the fluid pressure as a driving power source. The 1st station I sets the plural works on the jigs A. The 3rd station III has a turning means D in common use as a lifter which rises, swivels and lowers the works coupled in the station II integrally with the jigs A. The 5th station has also a turning means F in common use as a lifter, by which the swiveling and returning of the jigs A are executed.
