To provide an attaching/detaching device of a main runner cover for an iron tapping runner of a blast furnace which can further efficiently execute the attaching/detaching work in the safety, profitability and the saving of labor, by using the simple structural device mainly containing an one point hanging wall crane.
This device contains the one point hanging crane 1 made to swing and travel the main runner cover 2 under using a supporting column 14 as the basis set near the iron tapping runner 12 of the blast furnace while hanging down between an attaching position and a retreating position, a pole 5 fitted as upright state at a prescribed position of the main runner cover 2, an extend and swing arm 6 supported so as to be horizontally rotated at a prescribed position in the opposite side to the supporting column 14 while inserting the iron tapping runner 12 and arranged so as to be extendable and horizontally swingable by connecting with the plate 5 at the tip part thereof so as to be freely slid and rotated, engaging piece fitted to the intermediate part of the extend and swing arm 6 and a guide member 8 providing a guide way 9 engaged with the engaging piece and arranged above the extend and swing arm 6. Then, the guide way 9 is formed as the path for guide introducing the engaging piece 7 so as to be stably held to the attitude in the horizontal direction of the main runner cover 2 during shifting while hanging down the main runner cover 2 with the one point hanging crane 1.
