PURPOSE: To decrease variance in the quality of products attached with tab plates and to improve considerably productivity by supplying automatically the tab plates to prescribed position.
CONSTITUTION: Tab plates 1 supplied by a supply bucket carriage 6 are successively hoisted by a suction device 2 and are transported to the upper part of a device 10 for inserting and pushing tab plates as a moving lift carriage moves. The device 2 descends to supply the tab plate to the upper part of a receiving base 12 for inserting and sliding tab plates. The tab plate is further fed to the upper part of a liner 25 for lining tab plates. A base 26 of the receiving base for guiding tab plates ascends to make flush the bottom level of a plate 24 and the tab plate 1 on the liner 25. A device 27 for side positioning of tab plates advances to move the tab plate 1 on the liner 25, thereby making flush the side level of the tab plate 1 and the plate 24. A pressing and guiding pawl 14 advances thereafter to position the tab plate surface to the plate 24. A clamp fixes the tab plate 1 in a weldable state and a welding torch descends. Welding is thus accomplished.
