To provide a device for automatically feeding bars which is capable of automatically feeding small bars, labor-saving and economical, and usable to meet various working machines and products.

The device for automatically feeding bars comprises a holding member 6 which is lowered above a tray 5 with bars W being stored therein, picks one bar W and is elevated, a chucking member 7 which is adjacent to the holding member 6 and holds the bar W elevated by the holding member 6, and a driving device 13 which reciprocates the chucking member 7 and the holding member 6 in the longitudinal direction of the bar W. Preferably, the cross-section of the tray 5 is V-shaped, more preferably, the holding member 6 is exchangeable, more preferably, the chucking member 7 has rollers 10, 11, 12 for holding the bar W, more preferably, the tray 5, the holding member 6, and the driving device 13 are supported by a height-adjustable machine body 1, and furthermore preferably, the reciprocating driving speeds of the chucking member 7 and the holding member 6 by the driving device 13 are adjustable.
