PURPOSE: To automatize the holding of spaces between end faces of cylinders in a device for holding spaces between end faces of nuclear fuel pellets for nuclear power plants, etc., by pushing out the cylinders which are contained in a countainer and are horizontally held, at a fixed speed onto as conveyor which travels at a speed higher than the push-out speed.
CONSTITUTION: A container 5 in which several cylinders 6 are disposed is set on a receiving bed 3 so that the end edge of the container 5 is positioned at a level slightly above the top surface of a shifting joint 8. Then, an endless belt 13 is allowed to travel leftward and a push-out member 7 is moved leftward. Therefore, the cylinders 6 are successively pushed out onto the belt 13, and are moved being guided by guide element wires 17. At this time, the end faces of the cylinders 6bare separated at fixed intervals since the speed of the belt conveyors 13 is higher than the a push-out member 7. With this arrangement, the holeing of spaces between cylinders may be automatized.
