To provide a device for automatically drawing out a ground investigation rod from the ground, which can be made compact and simplified.

A device 10 for automatically drawing out a ground investigation rod from the ground includes a base 13, a drive gear 18 rotatably provided in the base 13, a drive motor 12 that can rotate the drive gear 18 in a normal rotation direction and a reverse rotation direction, and a driven gear 22 capable of approaching and separating relative to the drive gear 18 and capable of holding a ground investigation rod 203 with the drive gear 18 when approaching it.
