Abstract:

To provide a raising/lowering device of a bed, which has a light-weight/compact raising/lowering means concentrated below the center of the bed and capable of raising the back at a timing somewhat later than raising the knees.

In a care bed which is raised/lowered with a back raising frame 3 and a knee raising frame 5 associated with each other, a sliding arm 11 which slides by telescopic motion of a cylinder and a rod 10 of the cylinder and a mechanism raising/lowering the back raising frame 3 and the knee raising frame 5 in association with sliding motion of the sliding arm 11 are concentrated below the center of the care bed, then, fitting projections move between both ends of a timing adjusting hole 9 and the back raising frame is raised/lowered later.
