PURPOSE: To prevent damage to a bundle of laver by preventing the weight of another bundle of laver from being imparted to the bundle of laver and to eliminate the need to provide a large floor area even if a large number of bundles are stocked by providing a feed means which forces bundles of laver onto a shelf board, side by side, in lots, each of which comprises a predetermined number of bundles, from an end side and a stock section in which a plurality of shelf boards are vertically arranged.
CONSTITUTION: A push plate 21 is moved to a forward end of a delivery base by a drive motor of a feed means 20 to transfer a bundle of laver 2 onto the delivery base from a receiving plate 17 and when second and third bundles are horizontally set, the motor moves the plate 21 toward the side edge of a shelf board 9 so that three bundles of laver are simultaneously moved onto the board 9. At the lower part of a stock section 1a, when three bundles are supplied onto the board 9, a drive motor 27 of a lower transfer means 24 moves a push late 25, back and forth, from a falling side shelf board 9 to a rising side shelf board 9 to force the three bundles toward the rising side shelf board 9. After the plate 25 returns to its initial position, a lifting motor 4 drives roller chains 8, 8 by one interval of the shelf board 9 to effect stocking.
