Abstract:

To provide a sheets-binding device for winding a paper band on accumulated banknotes without requirement of a large space.

A sheets-binding device comprises a carrying section 105 for carrying accumulated banknotes S along a carrying path 105a, a band let-off section 112 for letting off paper band 106 interrupting the carrying path 105a, and letting off the paper band 106 at the speed almost equal to the carrying speed synchronously with the time when the paper band 106 is pushed in by the carrying of the accumulated banknotes S to passing the paper band on the accumulated banknotes S, a cutter 109 for cutting the paper band 106 let off by the band-let-off section 112, and a bonding section 111 for bonding the end of the paper band 106 cut by the cutter 109 to the end of the paper bank 106 passed on the accumulated banknotes S.
