Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the control of transmission of large torque through a small electric input and promote durability, by performing or stopping the transmission of motive power depending on the electromagnetic-coil-swung state of a lever holding a rotary wheel, an eccentric wheel and a gear coaxial with one another. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic coil 8 is energized, a magnet 7 is repulsed to unlock a lever 3a so that a rotary wheel 4 whose shaft 4a is supported on a lever 3 is brought into pressure contact with a rotary wheel 5b secured on the rotary shaft 5a of an electric motor 5. Consequently, the rotary wheel 4, a gear 4b and an eccentric wheel 4c on the shaft 4a are turned together counterclockwise by the rotation of the motor 5 to drive a load 1 through an output gear 2. Because of the reaction of the load 1, the lever 3 receives torque in the same direction as the wheel 4 so that the contact pressure between the rotary wheels 4, 5b is increased depending on the load 1. When the coil 8 is de-energized, the magnet 7 is attracted at the time of the approach of the reciprocating lever 3a to a yoke 9 to separate the rotary wheels 4, 5b from each other to stop the transmission of motive power.
