PURPOSE: To enable an accurate and stable chalking by reducing effect of generated sliding resistance acting on chalking force of an upper die by fixing the upper die to a lever so that the sliding area is limited the part between a center of rotation an a supporting member when the upper die approaches the lower die.

CONSTITUTION: The base part of an eyeless needle inserted between the lower die 2 and the upper die 1 is chalked while the upper die 1 approaches and is separated from the lower die 2 fixed to a base frame 4. The lever 3 having an axis 5 as a center of rotation which is arranged in the same direction as the lengthwise direction of the base end part of the eyeless needle and is supported with a length longer enough compared to a length to be chalked at the base end part of the eyeless needle is provided at a position far enough from a contact point between the lower die 2 and the upper die 1. A support member supporting the center of rotation of this lever 3 and the upper die 1 facing the lower die 2 and fixed to the lever 3 are provided. Consequently, a fixed chalking force can be acted on the upper die and the eyeless needle having a fine diameter can be chalked with accuracy.
