Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reciprocate a plate, a carriage, or the like at high speed together with a can with particularly simple structure.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for charging a can of elongated horizontal cross section (a flat can) with sliver such as cotton or chemical fiber in a spinning machine such as a drawing frame, the sliver 2 is discharged from a stationary coiler plate 5 and accommodated in ring shape. The can 6 is vertically reciprocated on a plate, a carriage 7 or the like during charging action, and a driving device is attached to the plate, the carriage 7, or the like. The carriage 7 is connected to a quick-acting moving device 13 coupled to the driving device.
