PURPOSE: To easily, safely and efficiently attach/detach chocks by a few workers without damaging the chocks by mechanizing the work.
CONSTITUTION: Supporting members 2a, 2a with which the neck parts 10a of a rolling roll 10 are supported are errected on a base-plate 2 at prescribed intervals and actuators 3 having expansion rods 3a which are expanded/ contracted through these supporting members 2a, 2a are horizontally laid in contrary direction between the supporting members 2a, 2a. The chocks are easily, safely and efficiently attached/detached by a few workers by connecting the tips of these expansion rods 3a to trucks 4 which travel on rails 2b and have pawls 7a on a placing table 7 in upper parts at an interval in which the chocks 11 are fit, supporting the rolling roll 10 on the supporting members 2a, 2a, on the other hand, situating the chocks 11 between the pawls on the placing table 7 and expanding/contracting the expansion rods 3a.
