Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily clean and dry a rotary drum without any manual work.
SOLUTION: The first to third conveyors 2a to 2c for conveying a rotary drum 1, a device 3 for detaching a lid 1b attached to the inlet and outlet of the drum 1, a cleaner 4 for reversing the drum 1 with the lid 1b detached so that the inlet and outlet are turned downward and cleaning the drum, a drier 5 for sending hot air into the cleaned drum 1 to dry it and reversing the dried drum to the original position, a device 6 for attaching the lid 1b to the inlet and outlet of the dried drum and a conveyor 7 for conveying the lid 1b detached from the drum 1 by the device 3 to the lid attaching device 6 are provided to constitute a device A for cleaning and drying the drum 1. The rotary drum 1 is automatically cleaned and dried rapidly and easily without any manual work in this way.
