Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which performs the cleaning of window glass from the side of a hoistway by a connecting means which is extruded in the direction of the window glass and a cleaning means which is installed on the end of the connecting means at the side of the window glass and comes into contact with the window glass in the state that the connecting means is extruded.
SOLUTION: An extrusion guiding member 2 is provided for a counter rail, and a cleaning device is installed under a cage 14. When a cleaning member 10 is at the location opposed to a window glass 12 of a hoistway, a roller 3 rides over the extrusion guiding member 2 to push a connecting rod 4 to the side of the window glass 12. The cleaning member 10 is installed on the end of the connecting rod 4 and pushed against the window glass 12. As the cage 14 moves in this state, cleaning is performed through the use of this movement.
