PURPOSE: To clean the outside of a window by manipulation on the inside of a room.
CONSTITUTION: Guide rails 6b, 6b are laid on at the outer surface 51a of a sash frame 6a, interposing a windshield pane 51 therebetween, and being opposed to each other on the right and left sides. An arm 9a attached thereto with a blade 9c is provided so as to be movable along the guide rail 6b, and a spiral spring 10 and a drive device 11 are connected together through the intermediary of a drive wire 9d so as to vertically move the arm 9a. A washing water shower unit 15 jets washing water 39 onto the outer surface 51a of the windshield pane 51 while the arm 9a is moved so that the blade 9c is vertical moved downward while it is pressed against the outer surface 51a of the pane 51 so as to wipe off dirt from the outer surface 51a. The washing water 39 having been used for cleaning the windshield pane is retrieved through a draining groove 19a of a water receiver 19.
