Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold water supplying device that can prevent the freezing of water inside a heat exchanger after stopping the circulation of water.
SOLUTION: A horizontal cylindrical drum 3 contains multiple water flowing pipes inside it and is provided with a discharging port 3a and an inlet port 3b of refrigerant at the upper part of it. On both sides of the drum 3, water introducing cylinders 6 and discharging cylinders 7 bent downward forming L-shape are fixed. A heat exchanger 1 is fixed so that the edge part of it on the side of discharging cylinders 7 is placed at the upper part of a cold water tank. The inside of the cold water tank are separated by partitions 8 over which water can flow into a first cistern 2a and a second cistern 2b. Piping for supplying the cold water to user equipment is connected to the bottom part or the under part of the first cistern 2a into which the cold water from the heat exchanger 1 drops and the collecting path of the water of the user equipment is connected to the second cistern 2b through a return piping 11. The second cistern 2b is connected on the side of the introducing cylinder 6 of the heat exchanger 1 through a cold water circulating pump 12.
