Title:
DEVICE FOR COLLATING WIRE NAIL HAVING SHANK KEYWAY AND METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3307412
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately direct a nail in a rotating direction and a center axial direction by constituting with a nail conveying mechanism for conveying the nail through a directional zone and an engaging mechanism for disengaging each nail from a keyway after engaging the nail with the keyway.
CONSTITUTION: The nails 10 are directed when the nails 10 are conveyed through the directional zone, by using a rotary ring 138 so as to engage with a flat surface 30 demarcated with the kayway 28 between the end surfaces 40, 42 demarcated with the keyway 28 of each nail 10. The rotary ring 138 directs a flat surface 30 demarcated with the keyway 28 of the other nails 10 conveyed through this flat surface 30 and the directional zone to the same rotating direction, and when the parallel surface with the flat surface demarcated with the center line of the shank 14 on this nail 10 is demarcated, the nail 10 is rotated. When the rotary ring 138 accurately collates the tip part 16 of the shank 14 in each nail 10 in the center axial direction, since the shank 14 in this nail 10 is shifted, such as a cam movement in the center axial direction, the nails can be collated to the one side of the end surfaces 40, 42.
