PURPOSE: To absorb thermal contraction due to difference in temperature and treat a large amount of leaked liquid, by connecting a leaked-liquid receptacle mounted on a support of a low-temperature tank through a flexible pipe to a liquid collecting pipe provided along the longitudinal direction of a hull and connected to an exhaust pump.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a dish-like or gutter-like leaked-liquid receptacle 4 surrounding and horizntally projecting from a tank support member 3 interposed between a bottom plate 15 of a low-temperature tank 1 and a bottom portion 2 of a hold, for receiving liquid c leaking from a clearance a between a low-temperature keeping layer 5 and the support member 3. A liquid collecting pipe 12 extending in the longitudinal direction of the ship through a support 16 on the bottom portin 2 of the hold. The leaked-liquid receptacle 4 and the liquid collecting pipe 12 are connected with each other through a bellows-like flexible pipe 11, so as for the flexible pipe to absorb thermal contraction of each member. The liquid collecting pipe 12 is connected at its other end to a leaked-liquid exhaust pump, thereby enabling a large amount of the leaked liquid in each of the receptacle 4 to be treated through the flexible pie 11 and the liquid collecting pipe 12.
