To provide a connecting device of allowing two uncontrollable ships to be yawed without being in a jackknife state.
A stern of a first ship 132 to be steered is adjacent to a bow of a steering ship 12 to demarcate the straight array, and another ship 130 to be steered is in front of the first steered ship 132, and another ship to be steered is adjacent to a bow of a succeeding steered ship. Separate connection means 14 for connecting the bow of each steered ship to the stern of the proceeding steered ship in the steered ships 130, 132 have a pair of link arms, i.e., first and second link arms turnably connected to the port side and the starboard side of the two steered ships at both ends thereof via a pivot joint. Each link arm demarcates each axis, and the two axes are intersected before the center of gravity (70) of the proceeding steered ship out of the two steered ships along the center line of the straight array when the steered ships are aligned in the center line in a marine transport device.
