To support a portable telephone set on an electronic equipment side conveniently while satisfactorily electrically connecting portable telephone set through a card for connecting telephone set to the electronic equipment with a simple structure.
By this device, the portable telephone set T is supported while connecting the set T through a card 14 for connecting telephone set to be inserted into a card insertion port 12 to an electronic equipment such as a personal computer 10. A card connecting connector to be connected to an external connector 15 of the card 14 and a telephone set connecting connector 23 to be connected to the portable telephone set T are in corporated into a housing to constitute a connecting unit U. The housing and the card 14 are provided with a fitting projecting part 31a and a fitting hole to be mutually fitted when the external connector 15 is connected to the card connecting connector, and the gravity of the portable telephone set T is supported through the fitting projecting part 31a at the main body side of the card 14.
