To continuously cast a current collecting grid body having good quality without crack in boundaries by forming a wide width part having the width length of a lower part framed skelton forming groove at longer than the width length in the rotating direction of a foot part forming recessed part and wider width than the groove width at the position where the lower part formed skelton forming groove does not connect with the foot part forming recessed part.
At the time of supplying molten lead into a molten metal supplying part at a prescribed pressure through a tube while rotating a rotary drum mold 1 with a driving device, the molten lead at the prescribed pressure is flowed into the forming grooves 10a-10b in the vertical direction parallel lined in the axial direction of the rotary drum mold 1 corresponding to each sprue through an opening recessed part from each sprue 20a-20b. Thus, the molten lead surely flowed into each forming groove 10a-10b is simultaneously flowed in the forming grooves 10d-10e in the horizontal direction extended in the axial direction of the rotary drum mold 1, ear part forming recessed part 10g and the foot part forming recessed part 10h. In such a way, the molten lead flowed in the whole body of each grid body forming part 10, is cooled on the rotary drum 1 surface and solidified and continuously cast.
