Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform a tension-free and continuous transfer capable of effectively giving a fulling treatment, a bulking-up treatment. etc., to a long web by step-transferring the long web, while vertically vibrating the long web in a folded and superimposed state in a treating solution.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for immersing and transferring a long web such as filament woven or knit fabric in a superimposed state for the heated solution treatment of the fabric, two pairs of long transfer rods 10,11 having specific lengths, respectively, are disposed in a drain board-like shape in which the transfer rods 10,11 are disposed continuously in the web-transferring direction and alternately in the width direction at some intervals and in which the connected parts 1O',11' are deviated from each other, and supporting rings 12 in which driving shafts 13 are disposed at eccentric positions through can shafts 14 are disposed at positions near to both the ends of the transfer rods 10,11. Two pairs of the transfer rods 10,11 can be rotated with an angle lag of 180°. Since the transfer rods 10,11 are circularly moved on the side view when the superimposed web is loaded on the transfer rods 10,11 and when the driving shafts are rotated, the web is vertically vibrated and simultaneously step- transferred in a treating solution in a tension-free state.
