Abstract:

To solve such a problem that the number of times of simultaneously switching the switching state of an inverter IV increases in controlling a current of a motor generator 10, resulting in a risk of an increase in surge.

A model prediction control unit 30 predicts a current to be achieved by each of voltage vectors set by an operation state setter 31, thereby setting a voltage vector having the smallest difference from a command voltage as the final operation state of the inverter IV. When the temperature of a switching element of the inverter IV is low, the operation state setter 31 limits the settable voltage vector to the one in which the number of changes of switching state is ≤"1".
