PURPOSE: To conduct a weak field control of a motor for an electric motor vehicle by reducing the current flow rate of a chopper connected in series with the field winding of the motor as the deviation between a current command value and an armature winding current becomes large in a current control system with the field winding of the motor connecting shunt.
