Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a pressure reducing device from operating due to vibrations which are not caused by variations in engine torque, by operating the pressure reducing device when vibrations which are brought about by the ignition and combustion of an engine are more than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 40 comprising an ignition pulse generator 41, a D/A converter 42, and a variable band pass filter 43, receives a voltage which is proportional to the number of revolutions of an engine, as a control voltage for the filter 43. In this arrangement, only output voltages corresponding to vibrations in synchronism with the ignition and combustion of the engine, among all vibrations detected by an accelerometer 30, are delivered to a comparator 38 which issues a high level signal when these vibrations become more than a predetermined value set by the reference voltage of the comparator 38, and therefore, a pressure reducting device is operated.
