Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately pull in a web by immediately returning a sensor to the web position of a previous time after cutting the web or after pulling in a new web.
CONSTITUTION: In this method for positioning the sensors 1 and 2 of a web movement controller provided with the two sensors 1 and 2 respectively arranged at both edge parts of the web 3, a sensor adjustment device for mutually independently position-adjusting the sensors 1 and 2 relating to the edge parts of the web 3 and a signal processor for receiving signals originated from the sensors 1 and 2, processing them and controlling the sensor adjustment device, the two sensors are mutually separately and independently driven at the time of detecting the edge part of the web, the two sensors 1 and 2 are connected at the time of control to the center of the web 3, and after cutting the web 3, the two sensors 1 and 2 are synchronously moved in opposite directions for the rearrangement of the two sensors 1 and 2 and are simultaneously stopped and restarted.
