Title:
DEVICE FOR CONVEYING LIQUID FROM THE FIRST LEVEL UP TO THE SECOND LEVEL IN PAPER-MAKING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3927626
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably convey a liquid from the first lower level to the second higher level through a plurality of pipe lines for sucking out a liquid from a roller by utilizing the difference of the gas pressure without pulse flow.
SOLUTION: In the shoe type press roller 12' in a paper making machine having a plurality of pipe lines for sucking out the liquid from a roller, a vessel 22 is set on the left side of the web 58 at the center of the supporter of a double T shape mounted to the inside of the press jacket 16. In this room 20, a pipe line 32 is arranged so that its bottom end 38 is in the liquid before the press shoe and its top end 40 is surrounded with a bell-shaped float 46. In addition, a sliding sleeve 52 which slides vertically along this pipe line 32 is used as a valve for controlling the opening 48 of the pipe line 32 to control the flow of the fluid in the pipe 32 and the pressure difference between the gas pressure P1 above the liquid in the first chamber and the gas pressure P2 above the liquid in the second chamber 20 is utilized to smoothly convey the liquid from the first lower level in the first chamber to the second higher level in the second chamber.
