Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a device for correcting distortion of a pin cushion, which is generated in a faceplate of a CRT display, easily and of which assembly is simplified at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: In a device 1 for correcting distortion of a pin cushion to be fitted to a CRT display device, multiple even number of annular magnets 2a, 2b, at least more than one of which strength, width, and distribution of angle of each magnetic pole is not even, are comprised freely to adjust positions thereof mutually. With the described structure, assembly to a picture tube 20 and the work for correcting distortion of the pin cushion are facilitated, and furthermore, since a permanent magnet is not required, cost of a device itself is reduced.
