Abstract:

To improve a number of charged commodities counting device so as to prevent the number of charged commodities from being miscounted when a hand or the like is inserted into a commodity charging port in commodity replenishing work.

In the counting device attached to the commodity charging port of a commodity storing rack at the time of commodity replenishment to count up and display the number of charged commodities, an operation panel part is additionally provided with a manual count stop switch 20. When the switch 20 is depressed in the case of inserting a hand or the like into the commodity charging port in order to correct the posture of a commodity charged at the time of commodity replenishment, counting operation is temporarily stopped, so that miscounting can be prevented even when the hand touches a commodity detection sensor 15.
